Plans & what's included

How Tikroo plans work, why only hosts pay, and where to see exactly what each plan includes.

Tikroo is free to try, and only hosts pay — the people who join your sessions never need an account or a subscription.

Only hosts pay

Whoever builds and presents a Roo is the host. Players just enter a PIN and join for free, every time. That means the size of your audience isn't something they pay for.

Free to start, upgrade when you grow

You can build and run Roos on the free plan. Paid plans raise limits and unlock more — bigger sessions, more of certain activity types, and additional host features.

Because plans and their limits change over time, we keep the definitive, always-current breakdown in one place rather than repeating it here:

See the live comparison on the Pricing page. It shows each plan, what's included, and the current prices — for both business and education audiences.

Managing your plan

  • Upgrade or change your plan from the Pricing page or your account settings.
  • Billing period — plans are typically offered monthly or annually, with annual usually the better value.
  • Changes take effect as soon as they're confirmed, so you can upgrade right before a big session if you need the extra headroom.

Who pays in a team?

If several people host under one organisation, licensing is usually managed at the team level — see Teams & collaborators.

Working in a school or a non-profit? There may be a plan tailored to you — see Education & non-profit.
