Results visuals & leaderboards
Choose how answers are shown — bars, donut, pie, dots or tiles — and when to reveal the leaderboard.
How you show answers matters as much as the question. Tikroo gives each activity a choice of result visuals, plus a leaderboard for scored rounds.
Result visuals
When results come in, they render as a chart on the shared screen. Depending on the activity you can choose:
- Bars — the clear default for comparing options at a glance.
- Donut / Pie — good for showing proportions of a whole.
- Dots — a lighter, more playful distribution.
- Tiles — answer tiles that fill in as responses arrive.
Pick whichever reads fastest for your room. Bars are the safe choice; donut and pie shine when the story is "what share chose each option."
The leaderboard
For scored activities (quizzes and many games), Tikroo tracks points and can show a leaderboard ranking players.
- Reveal it between rounds to build momentum.
- Save the final leaderboard for the end as a natural finish.
You don't have to show it every time — revealing it occasionally keeps the standings suspenseful.
Tips
- Reveal in order: let responses land, discuss, then show the correct answer, then the leaderboard. Revealing everything at once loses the drama.
- Match the visual to the question. A yes/no poll barely needs a pie; a five-option split does.
- Keep names friendly. Encourage clean nicknames at join time so the leaderboard is something you can put on the big screen.
